An Outside Sales Professional position with FASTSIGNS gives you the opportunity to work with people across different industries and giving them solutions that make an impact in and around their workplace. You’ll spend your days meeting with clients assessing needs and opportunities, prospecting for new business, networking, and managing customer relationships. You will be selling a unique, exciting product line that changes by the minute - completely based on customer needs and desires.

The position will start out training to learn the business and how to prospect new and dormant customers.  Once trained, job responsibilities include:

  1. Develop annual sales plan with Center Manager, detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the position on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
  3. Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and the FASTSIGNS Selling Solution System.
  4. Identify sales prospects and contact these using a “drill down” and “share of wallet” concept.
  5. Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
  6. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone, marketing and field activity.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of a Contact Manager program to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
  8. Develop a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
  9. Complete all paperwork and follow established center procedures from initiation through completion of a project (i.e., Work Order, credit approvals, POS entry, pre-payment collection, artwork approval, delinquent account collection, reporting).
  10. Prepare presentations, estimates and sales contracts.
  11. Establish and maintain estimate follow-up procedures.
  12. Constantly be looking for sales opportunities for the center.
  13. Serve as a backup for answering the phone if the franchise partner, manager and sales/service employees are busy assisting other customers.
  14. Assist at the front counter as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Outgoing and confident personality with a sense of urgency
  2. Willingness to regularly prospect for new customers/business
  3. Ability and willingness to learn new things
  4. Ability to effectively multi-task while working in an often fast-paced environment
  5. Prior Sales and Prospecting experience helpful

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
